I know that black is ground, red is hot; black and red got to joint connector and battery/fuse to the headlights, and yellow and black go to junction box to the lightning switch.

Tell us news if this solve it.

I know the factory amp in my 2000 Eclipse is draining the battery overnight. How to disconnect it without pulling front passenger seat?

Maybe I am overstating the obvious...but normally 12v aftermarket audio systems use a red wire for hot, black for ground, yellow for constant 12v power (like for clocks and pre-sets) and a blue wire leads to the amp to automatically turn it on when the deck is turned on. Many automotive companies do not use this standard, but some do...to a certain extent. Your local dealer should be able to provide the correct color (s) for the "power" wire...

What is the positive and negative wires on 02 Mitsubishi eclipse rs wire hornet

Could you be more specific?

Generally, all negative (ground, earth) wires are black. Generally, all positive wires coming directly from the battery are red. If they're controlled by a switch or a fuse, then they're dedicated to a circuit and may be whatever color (almost never black) that the manufacturer chooses.

01 eclipse spider top and rear windows do not work

All three wire showing 3 it should be all 4 wires, In the back of the rear seat is the convertable top module, the yelloow black wire should go ground to bring it down.Other than that a new module will be needed, this gets its command from the window main switch so see if yellow/black wire switches over

Replacing headlight assembly on 1999 mitsubishi eclipse

you don't have to remove the whole front end, some one is yanking your chain when you lift the hood there is three mounting bolts that attach the headlight assembly to the body remove those and then you are going to want to position your hands on the top and side of the headlight giving a gentle tug there is a clip on the bottom of the headlight that is what you are trying to break free good luck let me know what happens
