You will have to have a parts house look up the part for you. Because there are a great many battery manufacturers all with different prices an features it is impossible to give you an accurate part price as they can also change by location of where you are. Your answer to this question is but a phone call to your local automotive parts house away.

On me Honda Civic 2006 hybrid 12 v battery do not charging.

The alternator is what keeps your battery fully charged. How old is the battery? If is within the time it’s supposed to last and it is defective, then take it to the place you purchased it and they should prorate the cost of a new one. Also check to see that your alternator is working, that it is charging the battery as you run the engine. If it has stopped working then you need to replace it. The cost could be from 75-175 dollars depending on the quality and warranty you choose. I recently changed mine on my GMC truck, cost $98 and took only 30 minutes to change out.

My chevy 95 Tahoe has been parked for a while with no battery, now I put a new battery, it cranks but won't sta st?

I ran into a similar problem with a Cavalier, turns out that the on-board computer needs to have constant power. Even if the battery is very low or even dead, it still has to be connected. If the battery is removed it breaks the circuit and stops the command that lets the engine start. After the new battery was installed it would crank but not start, the dealership told me that I had to have it towed to them to have the comp reset, which would have cost around $150 total. Thankfully a mechanic friend of mine had a diagnostic machine and was able to reset it for me - cost me a case of beer. He then showed me a (not so simple) trick around this for the future. Once it is running again remember this. 1 Have the new battery and jumper cables ready, 2 Loosen the battery terminals on the dead battery but DON'T take them off. 3 Connect jumpers to the car battery cables and to the new battery, like you were jump starting from just the new battery. 4 Remove the terminal cables from the dead one in the car and remove dead battery (be careful not to let them come off the cables OR the good battery) it's OK if it disconnects briefly, but reconnect it A.S.A.P. 5 Put the new battery in and connect the terminals BEFORE removing jumper cables. Once they're on the terminals just take away the jumpers and tighten the nuts. That's how you change a battery without letting the car ever lose power. Hope that helps Jose. Good luck, safe driving. Repair shop said steering pump expolded on our 2000 Volvo XC V 70

never heard of the pump exploding... bursting one of the high pressure lines is more likely. new belt afterwards? sure. new battery? dont see how it could have harmed the battery. new tie rod? no way did this damage a tie rod.

replacing burst high pressure line 75.00 for parts
replacing belt 15.00 for parts
replacing power steering pump if needed no more than 150.00 for parts. thats 240.00 for parts... for the sake of argument lets double that for labor. 480.00

replace tie rod (in no way damaged by power steering pump) 35.00 to 125.00 depending on where you get it. installation cost about 75.00 (Tie rods can most often be adjusted to correct problem without having to replace them.
now, new battery (probably not related to the burst line) anywhere from 40.00 to 200.00 from autozone with free installation.

Can i take a car battery into some place and have them test it and charge it? for free?

Most car batter dealers and car accessory shops will test your old battery then offer to sell you a new one. (The fitting cost is probably disguised in thecost of the item, so you might get a discount if you are fitting ityourself. )

How do you change a positve battery cable on a 1998 dodge avenger car?

First a little more clarification would be helpful in, Why do you think the cable needs replaced? If the cable is corroded at terminal connection a new connection fitting is much more simpler than cable replacement. Nonetheless, remove the negative battery cable first, then the positive. (1)Clean the corroded area's with baking soda and water mixture (you should wear eye and hand protection- battery acid will eat through clothing in a matter of minutes).Scrub gently with nylon brush -using a wire brush can cause sparks and may cause a fire from hydrogen gas escaping form battery. Flush with clean water and your ready to start the next process. (2)Assuming you will adding a new terminal connection fitting - cut off bad fitting with wire cutters or hack saw, skin back wire about ONE inch and install new cable fitting.(3) install / reconnect battery. (4) Your cars computer will be cleared of all learned shifting patterns and other feedback information. It will revert back to factory preprogrammed settings. Average cost of replacement cable clamp $3.50. New cable cost to starter +$30.00

Happy motoring.

Cannot start engine, seems battery is bad! How much will cost to change a new battery?

Most places that sell batteries install them for free.A battery for your car shouldnt be any more than $80. for a good one.I'd try a Walmart that has an automotive maintanence section/garage.Other than that any Pepboys or AutoZone will install it right there.

I think you are being ripped off. A new battery should not cost you more than a few hundred. Search around for a battery yourself and you will save alot of money.
