Low side acces (A/C) is in the suction tube, between the compressor and the firewall (thicker tube)

looking under the hood there should be a large aluminum cylinder look at the line and there should be a plastic cap on there, it is under the cap looks likie large tire valve cap

the r-134a service ports on todays cars are industry standard sizes. the high side port is slightly larger than the low side so you can not hook them up in reverse.make sure your not trying to hook up to the high side port. low side ports are usually located on or near the drier. or in the larger diameter a/c line going to evaporator.

Yes, on my 2002 xl-7 the low side port is behind the grill as ibass215 says. The cap is light green and marked with an "L". Thanks Susuki, couln't you find a more hidden place?
