The drive belt is very likely stretched from normal use and will squeak more when you start it because of the resistance of the pulleys that the belt starts to turn when you first start up. You should replace the drive belt. If you have never done this before, you may wish to have someone at the parts store show you the steps you need to take to loosen the belt tensioner and it's easy after that. They will do it for free because it's easy to illustrate and they can sell you the drive belt.

Could be your belt's, try adjusting and if that don't work, belt's could be glaze and would need replacing.

Does it squeek like a whistle if so you may need to change one of the belts in the engine either alternator or timing or even fan

This is a very broad question. When does it happen, in motion, coming to a stop, while you are idle? Where is the noise coming from? The better the detail, the better of an answer. Please let me know

When I start the car there's a loud sqeeking noise that goes away after 1 minute 2003 es 330

if it was mine, I would buy some "fan belt dressing spray" and spray my fan belts or have them adjusted. first spray them once, if sound stops a few days, have the tension adjusted. if spray does not work the first time, this is not the problem.

2002 gmc truck water pump making noise how to stop noise

Gday mate, geoff here, could be the belt mate, try a bit wd40 / rp7 / crc, on the belt just a quick squirt or rub some soap on the V of the belt ,if noise persists could be the pump itself worn, does it have any lateral or dynamic play when wiggled, while engine off of course, hope this helps , geoff.

I have a 85 cutlass with a 350 engine i need to know what belt i need it sqeeks very lound dnt seem to have the answer for it. It stops when the cluth fans kick but when it first start

i`m guessing that you are trying to find out which belt is making the noise.first you need to push on each belt to see if the belts tight and not to loose,at the same time check the sides of the belts for a glaze or shiny sides as well as cracks in the belt .any belt that is to loose may just need to be tightened, any belt that is glazed or cracked needs to be replaced.if the condition of the belt is good then it probably just needs to be tightened.a trick to find which belt that maybe just loose enough is to take a wax candle or a bar of soap and with the engine running(being very careful around moving components) take and apply the wax to each side of the belt one belt at a time, when the noise stops that is the belt that needs attention either by replacement or tighting

2003 jeep cherokee 2.8 CRD engine sqeeking noise

It could be that you got some water on your serpentine belt and that will cause it to squeak. Try buying a can of "belt dressing" from an auto store and spray it all over your belt and see if that will stop it. It's a cheap and easy thing to try before replacing expensive parts. Hope this works for you, let me know how it goes. Goodluck!

My 2005 Honda Accord V6 Coupe front end sqeeks loudly.

The only other thing really around to squeek would be the control arm bushings. The start and stop portion may mean you should look into the engine/transmission mounts.
