The only problem you have is getting to it. Otherwise it is a standard disconnect the battery, remove the wires, remove the mounting bolts, pull it out and reinstall in reverse order. In real life you will need a lift, and a poop load of universals and extensions. It sits between the engine and firewall and under the intake manifold. This is a twelve pack, a good friend, long skinny arms and fingers, and an afternoon.

There is no adjustment you need to replace the clutch release bearing, it is dry on grease.

My 94 saturn sl wont turn over, and i just put a new battery in it, the engine is not firing

There are many things that might cause this. If after replacing the battery everything seems to work, lights, radio etc. And it still will not crank.................. More than likely you only have a bad starter. If you here any type of single click every time you turn the key the starter is still the #1 suspect. If you replaced the battery & found a large amount of white corrosion around either 1 of the screw in terminals and have no power / lights etc. after replacing the battery then you possibly have a internally corroded battery cable. GM side post batteries are notorious for doing this.
Good Luck!

I'm driving my saturn and every once in awhile it sputters and shuts off

first try replacing the crank sensor. it sits above and behind the starter. cheap part but a bi**h to get at. if it is going bad you will have that problem.

Engine will not start after replaced piston bearings on crank sha

you can reach down and turn the crankshaft pully by hand to see. If you have a manual transmission, it's even easier; push it a little, put it in 3rd gear, and pop the clutch, and see if the engine turns that way.

Saturn want start!

there was a fusible link added as a campaign/recall to that vehicle and is actually connected to the starter...make sure that link is good..not burnt...sometimes they look good but if you tug on it slightly it stretches meaning the wire inside is is an orange rubber looking wire at the starter battery post connection where the 14 mm nut attatches the battery cable to the starter
