What is the negative effects on the engine when i remove the thermostet of the toyota avanza

On any vehicle removing the thermostat will cause performance problems. The engine may never get up to operating temperature, which causes combustion problems. With new vehicles the PCM will read a fault and the vehicle will not run correctly, especially if the weather is cold. If the vehicle is overheating and you replaced the thermostat and it is overheating anyway. The thermostat is not your problem. Check your water pump, maybe a clogged passageway or radiator failure. Also if the engine has problems and is running way above temperature the cooling system may not be able to take the heat away. At any cost taking out the thermostat will not solve the problem.. It may just cause more.

1989 Toyota Land Cruiser overheating- REPLACED ENTIRE COOLING SYS

Do a cylinder leak down test. Hook up a airline to each spark plug hole. Bring each cyclinder to tdc and listen for air leak. Possibly in the radiator. You can also reverse the process by doing a radiator leak down test. If you hear bubbling in the radiator bad head gasket. Remove and replace head gasket.
