Does both front tires pull on a 2006 ford f150 when in 4 wheel drive

Only when on hard surface. If one wheel looses traction ( in a bog or up in the air) then all the drive force is transferred to that wheel by the differential action. IF you want both front wheels to drive all the time the you will need to fit either a limited slip front diff or a diff locker system

My 1988 Chevy Pickup Truck locked its Anti Locking brakes and dropped the drive Shaft, how can I fix it

Sounds like the rear differential may have come apart. I would drop the rear diff. cover and inspect for broken gears.

Have 2003 f150 4wd light on but will not lock in

IF you have both front wheels in the air then either wheel will spin freely unless you have diff lock or limited slip diff. That is the nature of a diff..wd means that all 4 wheels drive but only when you have a limited slip diff or a diff locker. in action . If you have both of one side wheels in a bog you will not go any where.

96 pajero auto no power front right wheel i 4wd trans fluid level ok

wd diff lock only locks the front to rear diffs not the 2 wheels on the same diff. To have both front wheels driving as you require will need limited slip diff in front or locker in front Be hard to steer in tight areas but they are available.

Noise when turning

your front diff may have a problem with to carrier gears if making noise each way left or right on a detroit locker front end they just make noise because of how it is made if it has a locker front end may be problem, have to open front case and inspect carrier either way.

What is the front differential on a 97 Jeep grand cherokee, is it a locker or a straight?

Unless someone changed it, the front differential is always an "open" style. If it was not, it would make it difficult to make turns. There are kits available to install either a positraction center section or a "spool", but those are used primarily in vehicles that are used off road where sacrificing drive-ability is not an issue. The easiest way to determine if a particular unit has a posi is to lift both wheels off the ground and turn one side. If the opposite wheel turns in the same direction it is a posi. If it fails to turn or turns in the opposite direction it is an open unit.

1988 WRANGLER-just replaced 4x4 actuator and now it engages but there is some play with the drive shaft going to the front axle. Is that ok? How can I check if my 4x4 works?

the play is normal the u joints have some play. not much, but some. Do you have open diffs? or Locked? place the Jeep on jack stands and see if the all rotate if you have lockers. If you dont you will have two spin until on looses traction then it will change too the other. Hell take it out and play have your buddies watch the times. Keep your wheels down.
