Question about Mercury Tracer

1 Answer

Hello I have a 97 mercury tracer ls. One day I went to blow the horn at a driver that had cut me off then the horn blew for a while on its own then stopped. Now it doesn't work. I want to know what I have to do to have it work again. Like what fuse?

Yes you can check the fused . --- but that does not tell me why the fused blow on it own , it could be arelay or the problem is in the steering wheel----- if you find the horn easy , take it out and test it to see if it working. reply

Replacement of oxygen sensors on a 1997 Mercury Tracer LS. Sell the Tracer and buy a Ford Focus, or 2010 Chevy Cobalt, or a new Chevy Cruze, or a Ford Fiesta. This solution is best if your Tracer has over 130,000 miles on it.

97 dodge 3500 bumper changed no horn i cant locate wiring

They've always been green or green with a black tracer. I think they're both on the passenger side closer to the radiator. If they used to work and now they don't the wires maybe got pinched and then blew a fuse? I can't believe both horns stopped working at the same time.
I hope this helps
