Check the fuel pressure at your rails and compression in your cylinders.

An engine needs 3 things to run, spark, fuel, and compression. If you have verified that you definitely have all three I would make sure the timing is correct. If it still does not run, start over.

How do you know it floods? Fuel injected vehicles should not over fuel the engine unless an injector/fuel pressure regulator is leaking internally or the computer commands a high injector pulse rate based on sensor information. Does it have spark and fuel pressure when the no start condition presents itself?

This model has 2 crankshaft sensors and a TDC sensor one sensor is for spark and the other is for injection. check for injection pulse.

98 toy sienna no spark no injector pulse coil and injectors have b+ but they have no ground signal


Dont worry about injection the rule of the is the same, correct for spark and establish it and fuel will come for spark you will need to trouble shoot CKP(cranksensor) and your ICM . The crank sensor is a alernating wave form and the ECM will only see its tope voltage and frequency or RPM, If the signal doesnt generate a good healthy signal ,your ECM will not give fuel injection pulse. The second problem you may be faced with ICM ,this include the Ignitor, its at the left strut tower, for now no spark I would start he trouble shoot at the cranksensor this include the terminalonnection and the toner wheel itself

Why can't I get spart. Don't have injector pulse.


Loss of injection pulses usually means a loss of an engine timing signal or even the security pack preventing the vehicle from starting.
You need to check all the timing signals, crank angle sensors, cam angle sensors etc and ensure that any security is disabled or turned off.
Check for spark, if you have spark but not injection pulses, then its a timing signal issue. If you dont have spark or injection pulses, also check the ECU (the cars computer) although I do not know of any issues with this make and model.

Has all power and still wont start it has a spark it is a 2.5 4 cylinder 1996 the spark is wite i checked the timming could it be the crank positioner


Check the timing belt they are known to loose teeth and slip when old I've seen them be in perfect timing on the wrong cylinder! 80k /belt

88 cavalier has no spark


you need to start somewhere. get hold of a scanner and see if car has a crank signal. the crank signal supplies refrence for both base for ignition and injection pulse. if it has injector pulse and no spark, look at the ignition module/ coils but if has neither look at the crank sensor or harness to the module

Not starting


Hook up a fuel pressure guage, the start and run fuel pump circuits are seperate, see if after it starts the pressure drops.
