Question about 1988 Chevrolet S-10

1 Answer

Hi, I have a 1988 Chevy S10 with the 2.8L, 5spd., 2wd pickup. I was curious how come the engine is hard to start ( have to give it a couple pumps before i turn the key) and how come the high-idle takes forever to come down. Also to add to this later when it warms up and I push in the clutch the engine Rev's and stays at a high Rpm until I let the clutch back out in a different gear. Any Solutions?

How do I remove replace ignitor on a 83 Toyota pickup 22r 2wd 5spd

I'm thinking the 83 will be on the inside passenger fender but may be drivers, with the coil on top of the ignitor. Should be a couple or screws/bolts and connectors that will be easy to break at 30+ years of age.

No fuel to the engine

First, check that you have fuel in the tank. If yes, check that your fuel pump is functioning correctly.

1988 2wd 22r toyota pickup not idling

You might check the PCV valve and grommet,I'm assuming it's EFI,if the valve isn't sealed tight it will cause the motor die at lower RPM's
