Question about 2004 Volkswagen Jetta
Remove a spark plug and attach the spark plug lead. Then rest the body of the spark plug against the engine and get someone to turn the engine over and see if the spark plug is sparking.
If there is no spark then you will need to check the ignition system for faults, and the easiest way to do this is to get the Malfunction codes from the ECU.
