Question about BMW 318
That sounds like the light warning of low brake fluid in the reservoir. As the pads wear the fluid level drops as the fluid goes to the caliper to keep it full. This is normal. Check the level in the reservoir.
It may also be cause by the brake pedal going too far to the floor but you would probably notice that.
