Question about 1994 Toyota Camry

Driver's side window won't roll up. When I press the button down up there is no noise. Every other window still works. Is this a fuse problem? if so where is the fuse box located on a 1994 toyota camry

I had the same problem with My Camry, the problem is, it could be in the master control for that window, or the one at the door itself,, the motors rarely go bad in Toyota's thank god,, I went to the junk yard and got 3 of the switches and was able to plug them in one at a time and found mine was at the master control so I replaced that switch

Again had a similar problem, but with the rear window. It turned out to be the regulator for the window. You can get a new regulator for about $80 online and it's not too difficult to install but you have to remove the door panel.

It's most likely the regulator. It's not difficult to install and the part is not expensive. Does it make any noise when you push the button?

Drivers window goes down but not up

The motor and fuse is good - the likely culprit is a bad contact in the switch when you attempt to activate the up position.

I would replace the switch for that window.

Driver side window not working

It is most likely your window motor is going out that are the window slipped off track or off the regulator wich is what moves it up and down ... id suggest taking off your door panel and checking it out..

Rear windows won't go down

You also have Circuit Breakers for your windows, Or your Master Switch ,You can Test the Driver Control Switch or the rear switches by removing the Switches and using the connector Plug and a Jump wire try jumping accross the wires,if they go up or down you could have a Bad Switch,if nothing moves more than likely your Window Motor is bad. BUT first CHECK your Circuit Breakers ,It could be Labeled as accessery Relay or circuit Breaker.

04 taurus Power Windows, passanger side goes down, not up, new mo

It is most likely the switch itself. since the down works that means that there is power going to the switch. So, the up position switch is probably worn out.

Sounds like you need a window motor. Try hitting in center of door trim panel to see if you can get it to work if so replace motor.

'01 Golf - both windows not working, dash lights dont work

If the new golf is any thing like the old mk3 then the windows have cables attached to the mechanism for operating the windows and the plastic that holds the cables in place aint the best ! Better take off the door panel and check the cables and the plastic on the window

Check to see if the "lockout" button on the driver side master switch is depressed. This button, when activated, kills all power to the other 3 windows.

CAN YOU HEAR NOISE WHEN YOU PRESS THE BUTTON? IF SO THEN THAT MEANS YOUR MOTORS ARE WORKING AND YOU PROBALY HAVE BUSTED WINDOW REGULATORS, THERE RUN ABOUT 100.00 AND ARE EASY TO REPLACE.
