My mom has a 2006 Chevy Aveo and a few months ago the AC stopped blowing. When you turn the AC on, you can hear it click but then nothing happens. It started working for a while after that but a few days ago it started doing it again. Any suggestions?
Go to the dealer buy and replace the compressor magnetic clutch switch, this switch is located in the low side of the system, the low side is the larger of the two AC lines comming fromthe compressor, it may be sticking and not letting the compressor engage, there is one other possability and that is the AC clutch relay under the hood in the fuse box is defective, u may end up replacing both.
