Check your brake lines sounds like a brake issue is it a 4x4 check your axle seals also.

Passenger side cv axle leaks transmission fluid. The axle has excessive play when moved up and down. Is problem inside transmission to allow the up and down play. No play in and out.

It will be part of the differential section. Usually easier, quicker and cheaper to source a second gearbox. Gearbox's are full of gears believe it or not, but also spring parts etc. They are not for the amateur to overhaul and often require specialised tools.

Clicking noise down by the front tires.

check your axles, for an open cv boot, this clicking is on straigth or turning, if turming to your rigth you hear noise to be louder on your left then your left axle is bad, do the same to your left and if noise exists then your rigth axle is bad.good luck

Just changed my cv joints and now transmission fluid leaks what do i need to do? and the passenger side sounds like its rattling

You may have cut or damaged the axle seals on the trans. Have to pull axles again and do seals,if that is where the leak is. Your best bet is to alway install rebuilt axle assys.

Trans-axle fluid leak

checking the transmission fluid involves lifting the vehicle and removing a plug on the transmission, it is quite difficult and messy if you don't have access to a lift, the vehicle has to be level and at operating temperature in park, there is a small plug on the side of the transmission near the passenger axle shaft. remove the plug slowly, i believe it is an 11mm bolt, if fluid drips out, the level is ok, if no fluid comes out, there is a small plastic screw on cap on top of the transmission itself on the driverside near the oil filter cap, add fluid slowly untill fluid starts to drip out of the plug hole, once the fluid starts to drip, insert the plug and tighten, don't overtighten, just snug it up.!!!make sure you use the right fluid, this is important!!! i believe your fluid is dextron 6, double check in your owners manual, the use of any other fluid will cause damage!!! also, do not remove the small plug on the front of the transmission, that is the pressure plug, all the fluid will shoot out with force if that plug is removed!!!

Need to know a parts name

If you are referring to the metal part the axle slides into,It's cold the transmission,If it is leaking around the shaft it is called the inner cv axle seal,But if something blew up,I'd let a mechanic physically look at it.

Transmission leaking

R/S axle seal probably damaged . Most likely enough fluid was lost to cause slippage. Try filling and get repaired. Tow if necessary. Hope this help
