Question about 1991 Lexus LS 400
If the ac is working but not blowing cold then it could be ac relay problem.Check out/
What is happenning is the AC Mag Clutch Relay is tripping, You need to replace that which is located in the Fuse Box. These is a TSB # EL009-05. The indication would be if you observe the A/C light flashing when the trip happen from cool air to normal room temp. The Part number is 90987-02028. And the old part number is 90987-02022.
Another possibility is hole in the ac condenser.
allot of aircons have a thermal control to turn extra fans on too cool the aircon radiater, if this relay fails the aircon will run hot, the faster u run the engine, the hotter it will get, if the system gets too hot , the internal gas pressure will rise dramatically and blow a leak somewhere, or a hole in the condenser.
Another possibility is refrigerant leak.
Make sure your refrigerant has not leaked out.Get the ac pressure test done.It can be done at any local car garage. It will confirm if there is a refrigerant leak in the system.
For cd player and clock not working. Its connections in the dash and fuse in the fuse box under the dash needs to be checked out to confirm the faulty.
