Hi,
The cost of the radiator itself is within the range of $155-$200,while the cost of workmanship varies from $60-80 depending on the discretion of the technician.

Anti-freeze leak

Could be almost anywhere. Bad water pump, loose/cracked hoses, damaged radiator, defective radiator/pressure cap, etc. You will have to determine location of leak before you can estimate repair procedure/costs.

I am planning to buy 2000 audi A4 with 95000 miles on it? What do I need to check on this car before I drive off the lot?

This info is from MSN autos.

Occasional problems on this vehicle, 4-cylinder engines only, are failures of the Engine, Engine Vacuum Hoses and the Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor. Failure of the Engine is caused because the engine oil gels. When proper maintenance schedules for oil changes are followed, oil gelling should not occur. Audi has issued an 8 year unlimited mileage goodwill repair for this condition. The cost to replace the MAF Sensor is estimated at $380.00 for parts and $60.00 for labor. The cost to repair the Engine Vacuum Hoses is estimated at $25.00 for parts and $65.00 for labor. The cost to repair the Engine is estimated at $4,775.00 for parts and $845.00 for labor. The cost to replace the Mass Air Flow Sensor is estimated at $500.00 for parts and $52.00 for labor. All prices are estimates based on $65.00 per flat rate hour and do not include diagnostic time or any applicable sales tax.

Occasional problems on this vehicle are failure of the Comfort Control Module, with 4-cylinder engines only, and failure of the 4-Way Hazard Flasher. The cost to repair the Comfort Control Module is estimated at $290.00 for parts and $65.00 for labor. The cost to replace the 4-Way Hazard Flasher is $31.50 for parts and $91.00 for labor. All prices are estimates based on $65.00 per flat rate hour and do not include diagnostic time or any applicable sales tax.

Radiator leaking

That price seem very reasonable to replace the radiator unless you are supplying the parts yourself. If that is parts and labour it is a fair price. It is not an easy job but not what I would consider difficult.

Replace a lower radiator/heater hose

Its not to difficult at all..
Get the front end safely up on ramps..
Under the front end - loosten hose clamps.. One at the radiarot & one at the engine block.. Pull and twist the old hose off.. Could be a but stuborn..
Loosly put the cplamps on the new hose (a good idea to use new clamps) and slide the new hose in place.. Put clamps on & tightem..

Hope this helps !
