The fuel pump cut-off switch activates in the event of an accident or even sometimes from a hard bump.

On 1995 to 2001 models, the switch is in the right front corner, mounted on the toe board , just beside the right foot kick panel. On 2002 and newer (on the 4 doors) the switch is mounted on the right foot kick panel.

If the button is up, just push it back down to reset the fuel pump circuit.

Check to see if by pressing the reset button on the inertia switch an audible click is heard and that the fuel pump will run. It is located in the front passenger compartment close to the floor at the end of the carpet where you would put your feet

Where is the reset button for the fuel pump

The fuel pump inertia switch is located in the right front passenger area. It is below the dash but above the carpet in the right hand corner.
If you do not smell gas or have any gas leaking, push the button down that has popped up at the top of the switch.
