The break fluid level is normal and the light continues blinking when the grounding switch has been disconnected from the circuit.

The light blinks seven times and pauses once then repeats.

you didnt say it was flashing in rythym ,now to be honest here these braking systems are different to what we use in europe ,but the principle is the same ,look for a sensor on the master cylinder or the resevoir ,also check the front brake pads for wires and condition of brake pads ,could be this is a wear sensor warning ,cant see their being a lot of fancy electronics on a 20 yr old vehicle

Turn signal not blinking

It is sometimes a indication that you have a bulb shorting out and needs replaced. Have someone help you check all your lights to make sure they are all working. If one is out, this should solve your problem.

I have a passat 2006 fsi. The Parking breaks wont release after pressing the release button

I had the same problem on my Passat Variant 2007.
Randomly Park Brake won't activate and/or deactivate once button PB pressed.
The cockpit computer tells "Park Brake Error" (or something similar).
If this is your problem, the issue is very well known to VW Service centers.
I had solved it by bringing the car to the Service: The told me that they substituted the ParkBrake Button (a differently made one, even if identical on the exterior) and Reprogramming (Updating) the car computer software.

I just had had my intake manifold gasket replaced, now my check engine soon light is on blinking then steady. Motor bogs down at 3k rpms. Any ideas? Codes indicate knock sensor and misfire.

blinking stop turn off. restart if starts blinking again you should not drive it. on steady take to one of those places that checks for free auto parts store .write down the code if its related to the work you had done take it back, also were you had it worked on might of forgot to reconnegted something or nocked something loose

How do you reset the brake light on a 89 s-10 blazer? I tried pulling up on the parking brake while releasing it and the dash light stays on steady.

this light will also come on if you are low on brake fluid if its low top it off a little but this is also an indicator of a leak or brake wear from there check the switch when the pedel hits it for adjustment and whether it is workin properly

Jaguar xj6 break light cancels signal

Replace the turn signal switch. Bad contact inside causing a crossing of the circuits. When the turn signal is applied it should open the brake light circuit allowing for just the signal to work. Doesn't sound like the switch is doing it's job.

My parking break light flashes 6 short, 1 long and repeats...any clue? 89 chevrolet silverado 5.7L 700R4 2wd

6 short flashes seperated by one long flash indicates an erratic speed signal with the rear wheel antilock system. after performing any repairs, with key turned off, pull the stop/hazard fuse for 5 seconds to clear codes. the speed sensor is located towards the rear of the transmission on the driver's side
