Since you did not state the year of your dakota I could not research any TSB's

however, it appears that none of your codes have anything to do with the actual operation of the O2

in other words the codes are talking about specific circuit issues

when the sensors are replaced you are only replacing about 1 foot of wires...but what about the other 50 feet

bottom line is that your harness is chaffed somewhere between the o2's and the computer

    there are a few reprogramming TSB's from Dodge
    nothing specific for your code group but if you cannot find any chaffed wires on the O2 circuits then I would get the computer reprogrammed

    So by "on the o2 wires you mean the other wires connected to the o2 ones? As the o2 wires are all new. Do you have any idea what it cost to get the computer reset? Does that have to be done by a dealer or can a good mechanic do it?

    Thank you

    not just the wires actually touching the o2 but the wires that run from those o2 wires all the way back to the computer

Po132 O2 sensor circuitHigh volts (Bank 1Sensor1

Type: OBD PO132

Google your codes & what causes the fault codes
& possible solutions

Replacing parts based on a code, won't fix much

Have to do some testing to find a problem

Best to look at scan tool data & scope O2 Sensors

They can be good with a volt meter, but not on a scope,
if you watch switching time

Some front sensors are AFS (air fuel sensors) & work
differently,so know what your working on & gather your
data, before doing any testing

2001tiburoncomputor codes, po136 & 141 what do they refer to.

P0136 = Oxygen Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank1, Sensor2)
P0141 = Oxygen Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank1, Sensor2)

If 4 cylinder engine, there are only two O2 Sensors - Sensor 1 is on top, Sensor 2 is at the bottom

If 6 cylinder, there are four (4) O2 sensors (Bank1, Sensor2 is on the firewall side of this engine and is referred to as the 'DOWNSTREAM' sensor (the one AFTER the Catalytic Converter)

2008 v8 2wd 2d 24,000m volts go a bit high, then a bit low, then engine will die, in stop n go traffic. in the shop 3 times now. everything is checking out fine. last time 1wk ago replaced battery...

This sounds like a bad alternator, its sounds like it sometimes charges and somtimes not, check the wiring to alternator and if all is good then repolace the alternator.this should be under warranty. i would ask them to just replace the alt. hope this helps.
