Question about 1992 Chevrolet C1500
Sound advise from CaSmogTec, The green wire should lead directly to your fuse box (a wiring diagram would be very helpful) the problem is specific because your front turn signal still works. And since your brake light and turn signal operate off the same wire, any short in the wire could cause both to be inoperable, Test the wire, test the fuse box, and perhaps buy a new flasher module while you are at it, hope this helps.

you need a new switch.there is a cam that drops down when you apply turn signal and it is stuck this is called a multifunction switch. should still be under warranty

why not just replace the turn signal switch must faster and safer . buy one from your local parts house then you can see its not that easy to install but you can do it with a little help

I had this problem, and to be honest, it happened to the left side about a week later...it's the board that the bulbs plug into...it's a very common problem with this model. So popular that you can normally get the socket board off the shelf at a parts store! it's extremely simple to replace, and I replaced all the bulbs at the same time!
