1990 CADDY ELDORADO; SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, CAR STARTED RUNNING VERY ROUGH, NO POWER, NO PICK UP, POOR GAS MILEAGE. DID A CHECK OF DRIVERS INFOMATION CENTER AND GOT CODE OF ''E032'' (OPEN MAP SENSOR CIRCUIT). CHANGED THE SENSOR WITH NEW SENSOR (DURALAST SU104 SENSOR) . RESET CAR'S COMPUTER. HOWEVER, THE PROBLEM IS STILL THERE, LIGHT STILL ON, CODE STILL SAYING ''E032'' AND THE PROBLEM IS GETTING WORSE, WHERE CAR GOES DEAD WHEN AT COMPLETE STOP IN GEAR. ANY IDEAS? (THE BOX THAT NEW SENSOR CAME IN FROM AUTO ZONE HAD BEEN OPENED, COULD THE NEW SENSOR BE BAD OR A USED ONE SWITCHED BACK INTO BOX BY PAST CUST?) I ALSO HAVE CHANGED THE PLUGS AND FUEL FILTER, THOUGHT I GOT SOME BAD GAS, BUT TOOK A TRIP ON WEEK END AND BURNED THAT OUT AND NOW FRESH GAS, BUT SAME PROBLEM. CAR IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, LOW MILES, WELL TAKEN CARE OF...ANY HELP OUT THERE....

Take you car to the local Auto Parts Store, most of them will connect a handset to your car for free, once they have the codes you will have a better idea what is wrong with your machine and what parts may be required to repair the issue. Places like Auto Zone and I beleive PEP Boys will help you out.
TO SAVE YOU TIME AND MONEY.HAVE TRUCK SCANNED TO SEE WHAT CAUSES SERVICE LIGHT TO COME ON.YOU CAN GO TO AUTO ZONE THEY WILL SCAN IT FOR FREE.BUT IT SOUND LIKE YOUR O2 SENSORS COULD BE BAD.
I have a 88 and mine done the same thing. I recently had the central power supply rebuilt at a shop in Minnesota and the problem is fixed. After driving the car for 2 years with no working gauges, lights or heat. I now have lights, heat and air!!! I now love my caddy!
I have a 1994 Cadillac Eldorado and every time i start it the car has rough Idle and the Idle fluctuate's. I also can feel it in the gas pedal when the car is doing this I tried replacing the throttle body sensor but it still does it I also was told it was the Idle error sensor. So instead of spending the unecessary money again I thought I would go online and see if anyone could help me with this problem.
