The brake switch is located directly above the brake pedal. It's a somewhat common failure item on mid 90s GM vehicles and usually in stock at most GM dealerships for under $20.

It's on the break pedal where the rod hooks up.

We have a chevy 1995 chevy lumina the head lights go out during long drives at night == now either the lights are tired or I have a problem. Also where is the fuse box on this van.

Sounds like a charging problem. I would have the alternator and battery checked out. Most places do this for free. Places like auto zone or les schwab. Your fuses are located drivers side underneath steering wheel to the left.

you either have bad brake pads or the bolts are loose that hold the front steering suspension on.

I have a 1995 chevy astor van...the dashboard lights are not working...where can i find the fuse box? and if the fuse is not the problem it could be the dash lights...but for now they are all not working...

instrument lamp fuse. 10 amp labled INSTR LPS left side ,up under dash. if its good, the headlamp switch could be bad or the reostat for the lamps.

Need a rear end diagram for 1995 chevy cargo van 2 determine parts needed.Leaking throu tire

if you are leaking gear oil through the tire you need an axle shaft seal there is also a axle bearing there unless it is a full floating axle which means the axle has a flange on the wheel end that bolts on. if you go to the chevy dealership near you go to parts and they can print you out a break down of the axle according to your vin number on the van
