SOURCE: Dash Lights Blow Fuses

Check the fuses. Look at the Amps given to the lights. It could be lower.

Remove cover from the relay and fuse box under the hood. Find the fuse for the ECM and remove. Wait 20mins and replace. If the light comes on again see a mechanic. I've had this problem over about 10 years and it is only a false alarm. If the problem persists see a mechanic. DO NOT TRY TO USE ANY CAR BATTERY POWERED DEVICE IN THE CAR UNTIL THE FUSE IS REPLACED

1999 isuzu rodeo blow ignition fuse

Check to see if you are using the proper fuse. If so, disconnect the starter solenoid and then try to start the vehicle. If the fuse does not blow, the starter solenoid (entire starter, actually) should be replaced.

2001 Isuzu Trooper No dash lights keeps blowing fuses

If you keep blowing fuses, you have a short somewhere in your wiring system. The ONLY way to fix this is to trace ALL your wires, and find the one that is grounding itself out by not having any insulation around it. Which means you can see the wire itself. Hope this helps, James Booth. Please rate this. :)

Turn signal/backup light fuse C-3 blows frequently on 1994 Trooper

The fuse should be around 15 amps, anything less than this will probably blow with any type of surge. The reason for a fuse of the correct value blowing is a short circuit in the system. Look for wires chaffed through, especially where the wire passes through body work and through supporting loops. Check the bulb holders that there are no loose or bare wires there. Other than that it is a long slow process of inspection and checking. Do not try replace the fuse with one of a substantially higher value, you could burn out wiring and harnesses - or the whole vehicle.

1988 trooper the radio was replaced now the fuse blows

Start by disconnecting the radio power wire, it may have been connected to your dashlite circuit. Now with a test lite tool check the available wires for the heavier wire, Using the test lite, this should have power when the ignition is on. reconnect your radio power wire to this one and your problem is solved.
