Your owners manuel will have the spec for your car. If you don't have the owners manuel then go to the parts store and get the repair manuel for your make and year of your car.

You can install a TH-350 pretty much bolts right in. However, you have to be careful with the tailshaft length. Both the 350 and the powerglides had long and short length tailshafts. In other words, if its the wrong length, the drive shaft wont fit.
You can also install a turbo 400, 700R4, and numerous other newer transmissions with overdrive too, but they will require electronics to make them shift wihtout a computer, and different cross members.
