Question about 1997 Cadillac DeVille
If new battery drops to 10.3 Volts on the dash monitor battery voltage, then the alternator is probably not charging it enough to maintain 13.2 to 14.2 volts when the car is running.
If it's the alternator, eventually all systems will shut down as it runs.
10.3 V is really low for a new battery.
