It should be the small push button on the headlight switch assembly, If no small button is present then it would be part of the dash light dimmer usually it comes on and stays on if dimmer switch is in the full bright position.

My interior dome light won't go off in my 1997 Chevy lumina please help!! Don't want my battery to go dead :(

Disconnect your battery or remove the dome light bulb. Either there is a switch at the light that you hit and made it stay on or the door switch is broken.

Where can i find a dome wiring diagram for a 1998 chevy cavalier ?

Do your dash lights work? Check the dash light switch to see if it rotates to control the dome light, it may be turned off completely or the dome light ground wire may be loose. If not the wiring will run from the back of the fuse block through the body post to the dome light Good Luck

The dome light in my 98 chevy lumina wont shut off. all the doors are shut, what could it be?

maybe the you need to change the switch position to the door option. maybe now the switch are in the "on" mode. or you need the test the door switch one by one using your hand pushing the door switch manually. maybe you will found the problem.

Having starting 1998 chevy lumina when turning the key,not a thing happens.check all the fuses ok.what now

no Crank ???? try to put it in netural. possible safty switch, if no crank you will need to check the crank wire on the starter, ( The Small Wire) with a 12 volt test light, when you turn the key you should have a light. if so the starter Sol Assy has failed.... Hope this helps

My 1998 chevy lumina brake lights won't light up when pressed. I have chaged all fuses and light bulbs. Am I missing any other place for fuses?

this would be a multifunction switch which turn signal switch wipers ect. run through located on steering column under plastic cover.assuming the brake light switch is good see if third brake light works when you press the pedal if so it is deffintly the multi switch.

96 chevy lumina sedan

for both issues, could possibly be the flasher unit for the blinkers.....which could be separate from the hazard flasher unit...(happened on my 92 chevy lumina) or the actual turn signal switch which is located in the steering column....not the stick you push, but the part inside that the lever controls (also happened on my lumina............3 times)

TIP:

start by checking the flasher....its cheap maybe 3-4$ for a new unit.....if thats not it and you figure out its the switch, go to a junkyard.....its wayyyy cheaper
