Their isnt one ,you will have to drop the sump, best advice i can give is that if its working ok leave well alone ,its a hydraulic oil and it doesnt deteriorate ,now iam not sure here but i think that if you do drain it you could throw a code fault light up ,also their is no filler plug or dip stick either ,it has to go up on a 4 poster lift then its filled with engine running and in reverse ,dealer only job really

How do i change the transmission oil on my hyundai santa fe 2001 v4

When it comes to changing the tranny fluid there's usually only 2 options. If your pan has a drain plug, remove it same as you would when doing an oil change. If not, you have to remove all the bolts on the pan to drain and replace it.

How to put on front struts an spark plugs

Unless you are replacing the struts as a unit; springs and cartridge together, you will need a spring compressor to avoid dying from the coiled spring when released.
If you are starting on DIY repairs, I recommend you invest in a Haynes service manual for your Santa Fe:

Where do I find the transmission fluid drain plug and filter to replace on 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe?

Some vehicles had filters and some didn't. If you have a filter it will be inside the transmission pan, and in that case there won't be a drain plug. You just take the pan off and try to get as little on you as possible when all the fluid comes out. MUCH easier if you have a lift.

If you don't have a pan then the drain plug is on the bottom. Manual transmissions don't have a pan, but sometimes the automatics didn't either.

Fluid: Hyundai Manual Transmission fluid if it's a 5 speed, and Hyundai ATF or Mitsubishi Triple Diamond ATF only if it's an automatic. Dexron and generic ATF does not fair well in these transmissions.

Call a dealership parts department with the VIN number and see if there is a filter kit available for your vehicle if it has an automatic transmission.

Fluid change

the transmission filter on a 4 cylinder is on the driver side in the engine compartment. it looks like a oil filter right behind the transmission dip stick. i hope this helps. and the drain bolt looks just like a bolt u would use to drain the oil so be careful
