NOT REALLY BUT IN CASE OF A ACCIDENT OR SUDDENT BRAKE YOUR BREAKS ARE NOT GONNA PERFORMED AS INTENDED. THE ABS IS TO CONTROL YOUR TIRES FROM LOCKING AND CAUSEING YOU TO LOOSE COMPLETE CONTROL OF A PANIC BREAK. CHECK THE FLUID LEVER ON THE MASTER CYLINDER RESERVOIR, AND IF THAT OKAY. THE NEXT THING TO IS TO CHECK ALL 4 ABS SENSOR ON YOUR TIRES FOR DIRTY METAL OR DAMAGED. 90% OF THE ABS PROBLEMS ARE DUE TO JUST BEEN DIRTY OR THE WIRE BEEN DAMAGED DUE TO HITTING OVER THE ROAD. ALSO WORNED BRAKE SHOES. HOPE THIS HELPS. TO MAKE IT SIMPLE YOU CAN GO TO AUTO ZONE AND THEY WILL LEND YOU A SNANNER AND THAT WAY YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT TIRE SIDE IT IS. SEND ME A FEEDBACK THANSK

ABS + ESP lights staying on dashboard

wow no year car, now that is a challenge , no?
abs is first.
first- first are brakes.
abs stuck on key on and running full time right?
so check brakes for damage or worn out.
brake fluid level not falling? look yet? look when checking oil every time.
abs can not work on cars with bad brakes, (its not god like)
then check for ABS sensor damage and its wires. under car.
then scan the ABS. got errors, sure you do.
but what? you didnt scan it first.
or read the manual> RTM?
its only 4 bucks to read it.

ABS warning light stays on

One of your wheel sensors are defective. Have a mechanic troubleshoot it. You can still drive without the ABS. Your regular brakes will still work.

My abs light is staying on I had the brakes replaced 3 months ago

The ABS system has very little to do with the brake pads/shoes themselves. It is a sensor-based system that senses when a wheel locks up and uses solenoids to release brake pressure to the skidding wheel to regain traction and thus help maintain control. You need to have the wheel sensors checked. It is not uncommon to damage a sensor dislodge sensor wiring when performing brake work. There are other issues that can also cause ABS damage as well.

Dodge abs light and brake light staying on

This means that there is something wrong with the ABS. The problem could be a sensor on the wheels or something wrong with the valves.

I have 2004 dodge diesel 2500 and when i turn my wheel left my abs light comes on and brake light comes on my brake pedal goes to the floor and i have no brakes and when i turn the wheel back the abs and...

Its the wheel speed sensor, or the wires are damaged. Turn the wheels to the left and then go look at the harness. is it streched out? (as in not enough slack) Is it touching or rubbing something. Has it come loose from its clips? Look at the face of the sensor. A few scratches are okay but, if it looks hammered, its probably damaged and should be replaced. If the hub bearing was bad enough to allow contact damage to the WSS you would have much bigger problems.

I replaced my brake rotors on a 2004 gmc canyon and installed new brakes. everything works great, however my abs light stays on now.

IF you installed the wrong brake rotors, without the ABS reluctor ring[if equipped],the light will come on.Second possibility is you damaged the ABS wiring to the wheel speed sensor. There is a harness to each wheel.
