Sounds more like the button on your remote is defunct to lock the vehicle, you may find it easier to take the vehicle in to the shop who installs/repairs the security systems on these type of vehicles. May be warranteed as well?

Replace the battery then stand next to vehicle and hit the unlock and lock buttons at the same time,Hold them there the door actuators should be locking and unlocking at this time and normally will reprogram the key fab.

I replaced batteries in keyless remotes for 2002 chevrolet monte carlo ss. how do I resynchronize the keyless remotes?

Hello: To resynchronize the keyless entry close all doors, key out of ignition. Hold lock and unlock buttons till the doors (all) lock then unlock. If the transmitter still doesn't work you have other problems. Go to auto zone they can check your transmitter to see if it is working.

Keyless entry on honda civic 2006 not working

The keyless entry is designed to work with the doors closed (closed - not locked). If the door ajar sensor thinks the door is open the keyless entry is disabled. When you manually lock the door it might tighten the door just enough to activate the keyless entry. I would try slamming all the doors closed and then see if the keyless entry works. If it still wont work have the wiring checked on the front door lock.

Same problem here

I tried to re--enable my keyless entry transmitters but no luck. When I press the unlock/lock button, the van chirps but not locking. Even the manual button in the van doesn't work.
What is the problem and how do I fix it?
