My hoses to the radiator are leaking transmission fluid

yup many radiators have a transmission cooler ...would just check the seating of the acorn connections and integrity of the pressure hoses...if you have been a bit heavy on the torque you may have stripped the threads....ugh...!

Ifall radiator fluid leaks out and there is no holes in hoses where can the fluid com from

The seams where the plastic end tanks attach to the aluminum core body. There is a gasket in a slot on these to make the seal. They can leak, and if cold enough will weep slightly.

There is also a small chance there are some hairline cracks in the plastic tanks which are not hgihly visible until they are leaking.

I have a 2001 nissan altima and the radiator is leaking at the top seams, will bar's leak work to fix the problem? and which one?

Not really. That is good stuff for pin or small holes. Once the seams come apart you need it re soldered. Now if this seam is very small in leakage....very very small it might get you by for a few days. Copper coat stop leak works the best.

I need to know if there is a repair I can do for

it is time to replace it...radiators are expensive at parts house....i would replace it with one from a wrecking yard or from craigslist.com...you really don't need that stop leak screwing up your cooling/heating system...hope this helps

Coolant leak --redoing my former question---!

I think you are trying to say that the plastic side tank is leaking. Likely on the seam where it joins the metal part of the radiator? I haven't seen too many sealers that work on those, but the old "standby" two tablespoons of black pepper (no kidding) sometimes will, unless the leak is a large one. There are some sealers on the market that claim they can plug just about any leak, but I have never tried them. (just too many)
The best way to do that repair is by changing the radiator, either with one from a scrapyard or new.
I used pepper in my own two years ago and am still waiting for it to begin leaking. (and heat works fine) Just make sure to drive five or ten miles after adding it or it will clump up and not help at all.

Good luck..

Over heating

im not sure if the 2004 m45 is quite the same, but check the oil level in the pump resivore for the fan,if its the same then it has a hydralic fan.The resivore is located under the plastic cover between the engine and radiator closer to the drivers side and it looks like its for the power steering pump oil.It has 2 lines,1 goes to the radiator,or cooler in the front of the radiator, the other 1 goes to the fan .

There is a cluster of hoses off of the top radiator hose

Sounds like air is in the system, probally because it's overheating. Check the water pump. The impellor is plastic and breaks causing 0 circulation.

Engine is over heating and blowing air into coolant resivor and boiling coolant

The blowing of air into the coolant resevour is caused by a leaking head gasket. What's happening is the cylinder is blowing air into the cooling system causing this to happen.
