Question about 2000 Pontiac Sunfire
I have the same problem with the same car and it does say service engine. When I bought my car the owner told me that they thought it was the fuel pump or the fuel filter. The guy explained what was going on with the car to my step dad who said he thinks if either of the two its the filter so we changed it and it was practically brand new. We're still not sure what it is; Brand new spark plugs and it ran okay for about a day. When I started it I had to hold the gas down then pump it after it started... But now no matter what it wont start... My step dad said he thinks it's the starter. After looking things up on the computer my mom thinks its something to do with the computer in the car. One guy on here said he took the computer all apart and put it back together and it ran like brand new. I would do the same but I have no clue where the computer is...
