It is located on the gear box... it has two wires and very easy to locate as it is the only switch on gearbox

I have a 1990 toyota four runner sr5 my rear hatch has no power and on this model the reverse lights are on the tail gate when I put it in reverse very dim lights were u can barely see any thing any...

Check Tailgate to Body Contacts--Likely dirty or position problem.

On models without Contact Assembly, wires broken in flex tube ( not easy to spot.)

I need front whell bearings for toyota corona AT170. Could you please tell me how to replace the bearings.

When you remove the bolts that hold the struts to the wheel assembly, turn the nuts lose and then tap out the bolts. I was able to grab using the pozi lock pullers (OEM number 27107) that keeps the jaws pushed against the ridge of the race while in the extraction process. I had to jury rig something for the hole in the hub. I used a small nut and the flat side of a horseshoe to bridge the hole (Anything similar would probably work). Note that anytime using a puller that you have to tighten the puller as tight as you can with your fingers then using a hammer rap sharply the shaft of the puller one time to help dislodge the race. Repeat this process until you can turn the handle without the rapping. As the race pulls off the hub, I used a large washer and a nut to take up the space between the side of the horseshoe and the hub to get the race fully off. Here you can find quality auto parts to replace

When I put my truck in reverse the reverse lights dont work

There is a reverse light switch in your gearshift on some cars/trucks that can go bad..
I would check the light bulbs, then the wiring back to your reverse lights, check to see if you have a fuse that could of blown for your model truck, then think about replacing your reverse switch.

It would be nice to know the make model and year of the car but I will take a stab... First check your back up lights. Check the fuse for them... It could be a problem the the reverse light switch and depending on the car can be on the transmission or shift linkage.... Good luck!

Reverse Lights not working

If it is a manual transmission, there is a reverse lamp switch on it, remove the wires, key on, jumper the wires (unconnected from switch) If you get lights, its the switch

The reverse lightbulbs should be 1156. The issue coould be the trans reverse switch, but that is a rare failure. What I would do is be looking for corrosion at the connector that is under the bed, and then branches out to the taillamps. With the key on, and the trans in reverse, you should have 12 volts at the Red with a Black tracer wire in that connector. This is a very common failure area.
Hope this helps.
