After bleeding my clutch i cannot get my truck to go into gear any sugestions

Those are really hard to get all the air out of sometimes what we do at work is have someone on the bottom with a long pry bar get on the front side of the throwout bearing and force it back while the other is inside pumping the pedal will sometimes jar the air loose.

Bleeding usually takes 2 people manually gotta pump it up pull pedal by hand up and down hold pressure down bleed and repeat a few times should work if not need more info

SOURCE: 1994 ford escourt clutch will not disengage fully, tried bleeding the hydralic clutch but still not disengaging fully. Any sugestions

could be slave cylinder or clutch master cylinder. might also be the throw out bearing binding up on the shaft not allowing full movement.

if the clutch is hydrolic,sorry,there is really no adjustment. Hydriloc clutch master cylinders can be a ****** to bleed the air out and it could just take an afternoon of you and a buddy bleeding it. And remember, bleeding a clutch is different than bleeding breaks. It is a slow and time consuming process. If the pedal problem has been going on for some miles, you could also have a bad synchroniser in your trans preventing proper engaugement

New performance clutch, new slave cylinder and master slave wont go in gear, and when in gear and pressing clutch vehicle wants to go


You may not have got all of the air out of the clutch line Try bleeding it again. The sequence is as follows:
1. Start with the Master Cylinder full of fluid. (Don’t forget to check after a few bleeds that it stays above ¼ full so that you don’t introduce more air into the line).
2. Have an assistant pump the clutch pedal 2 or 3 times, then hold down.
3. Loosen bleed nipple to release any air & fluid.
4. Tighten nipple. Assistant then lets clutch pedal return. It may be necessary to manually pull back pedal if it does not return by itself.
5. Wait a few seconds then repeat the sequence from #2.
Bleeding is complete when no more air bubbles are visible in the fluid released from the bleed nipple. It also helps if you have a length of clear plastic tubing that fits securely over the bleed nipple which makes it easier to see if there are any air bubbles.

5 speed manual transmission wont shif gears while running


You probably have air in the system. You need to bleed the air out of the system so that it will disengage your clutch. The air in the system is compressing and, therefore, the slave cylinder can't reach the full extension.

Bleeding won't fix it,If it can be put in gear and car doesn't move your clutch is no good.

you are having problems with ur clutch, need to bleed or adjust, if its easier to change gears after steping on clutch more than once, then all you need to do if bleed the system,

im a little confused re clutch replacement normally in order to start a manual transmission car the clutch pedal needs to be pressed down all the way before the car will turnover . as you say it will start but you need to push down clutch am i right? but when you try to put it into gear grinding ?wont go in to gear yes is this whats hapinin?ok the way that these clutches work nowadays is that there is a system similar to brake system there is a resivoir for the oil and a slave cylinder that pushes the clutch throwout leaver so that the gears can be changed did you see a small cylinder that pushes against the clutch lever? does it have a hose coming from it ? this system needs to be bleed just like the brakes on your car . find the resivoir small resivoir open lid and fill with brake fluid now go under car and find slave cylinder it will be somewhere near the transmission and bellhousing there will be a hose attached there will also be a bleed nipple attached you need to open this a few turns and let it drip dont press clutch pedal when bleed screw is open it will bring air into system , you want to remove all the air in the system so get a friend to go into car and pump clutch pedal then hold it to the floor while its being held down you open bleed screw until clutch pedal hits the floor tighten bleed screw then tell friend to pump up again do this 5 or 6 times making shure clutch fluid level doesnt drop down too far keep topping it up with the fluid that squirts out while bleeding this way you dont waste fluid as well as keeping fluid from hitting the ground .anyhow after trying this slave cylinder bleeding proceedure .try to see if car will go into gear . also see that there is no adjustment on slave cylinder . also i hope that you put the clutch facing the correct direction flywheel side towards flywheel . let me know how you do with this project
