Having electrical problems, power windows , locks. and mirrors dont work , when opening drivers door ,the radio stays on. maybe harness in door jam is the problem

This is usually a bad splice in the driver's side door sill to the VSM ( Vehicle Security Module ) behind the rear seat.
The splice for the std cab is closer to the a-pillar and the SuperCab / SuperCrew the splice is closer to the c-pillar

The Std Cab splice location ( Blue w/ White stripe wire )

SuperCab / SuperCrew splice ( purple wire - very close to where the wires run up the c-pillar )

As you can see there are a lot of wires in the door sill, it will take some time to locate the splice. The splice is 1 wire from 1 direction to 2 wires the other direction, and covered in something that looks & feels like hockey stick tape.

I have a 2001 Ford F150. It turns over but will not crank. Tried to jump it off but will not start. Gages and lights work inside. What does that sound like to you? Someone mentioned a fuel pump module....

That may be the problem, you would have to do one thing to make sure and that spray starting fluid into the throtle and if it starts for a few seconds then i would say its the fuelpump module, a fuelpump module is a unit with the fuelpump and preasure sensor and sending unit as one i will show you a picture, this unit is located inside the gas tank the tank will need to be dropped in orderto install the pump module, in goes in on top of the tank after tank is removed,johnjohn2_15.jpg

Not a regular cab but Lariat F-150 Supercrew 2003 , the inside and the cargo lights stay on when the truck is shut down ,and now I notice the auto locking doors are not working when you touch the brake...

Is the door ajar light in the cluster illuminated ?

Could be the door ajar switch ( part of the door latch ) is gummed up, and needs to be WD-40 sprayed into it, and close open the doors a few times, and repeat.

The autolock uses the same input, to know to lock the doors when you press the brake pedal while moving.

sounds like you have a problem with the gem module, (generic electronics module). This is a common problem with most ford trucks and suv's. you can find it behind the knee bolster on the drivers side under the dash.... hope this info helps.
