The bulbs may be burned out. Check them with 12 volts off the battery

The low beam doesn't change to high beam! I changed the lights bulbs and checked all fuses but there is nothing wrong with them! As I heard from a electrician, its somehow related to a switch but I dont...


depending on the make and model the dimer switch is part of the multifunction switch. on Chevy's you would pull the turn signal switch to the steering wheel.

Both lowbeams will not work replaced relays high


It's going to be in the head light switch itself.Dimer switch is part of it.

the high beam switch is at fault
A new one is needed
The directional lever you pull up on to switch to high and low connects to a rod which is going to the high beam switch at the mid section of the steering coluum. It is a headache to change for your on your head replacing this part

Hi,
Check that there is not a relay on the low beam circut, you should find the relay for this in the engine bay area. Also check for a separate mounted relay which may have been fitted to allow larger wattage headlight bulbs to be fitted. I hope this helps, let me know how you get on.

first make sure your high beam light arent blown if not its either your relay or your dimer switch id say mosty likly its the switch

Headlights not working


Ok Guys Thanks I will check into the dimer switch first, But if it is the turn signal switch assembly with the high beam control on it, it will not be cheap, I think they run about 260.00 each.
