Question about 2002 GMC Envoy XL
1990 gmc 3/4 ton p/u w/5.7 eng.i left door open all nite recently and had to get a jump.since then my volt gauge has not been above 12 and if i turn it off it will not make a sound at all when i try to start it. i have changed 3 batteries so far and yesterday i replaced the alternator.the volt gauge went up to 14, but by dark when i hit the headlites the draw was back down to 12 and it bounces when i hit the signal indicater. i turned it off last nite and tried to start it and nothing, the AAA guy could not even jump it with his rig. taking a trip very soon, need piece of mind! HELP
Check for loose connections batt. and at alt.

Check alt fuse, check from alt positive post to battery make sure you have 14 at alt and close at battery also if you ran battery down a few times may need to be checked and or charged that and dont be fooled some alternators that are rebuilt just had a little part here or there replaced ya might have got a bad one
