The fuse was probably removed purposely due to an electrical short in either the air bag system or alarm system. Have it checked professionally. U will have a dangerous air bag on your hands if u leave it be. Speak to the seller 1st, if possible. Maybe they can compensate u.
check if the brake light switch didnt disconnect itself no power come out of the switch to realease the shifter and light up the rear light its under the driver side follow the brake pedal you will see the switch let me no and thanks for using fixya
you have a AIR BAG PROBLEM, what good will a reset do, its still bad, therefore it will still be on. Do not render it inoperative. either have it repaired properly, or live with it. Its there to warn the dirver of a problem.
Take it to a dealer and get it scanned. That will tell you for sure. But...have you spilled any liquids in the center console? The main air-bag computer is under the console. If you spilled something on it , perhaps the connection needs cleaned
