2008 Sebring Convertible vibrates when idle

I just purchased a used 2008 Sebring convertible. I've had it for about 2 months with no issue until now. If it idles for more than a minute (e.g. waiting at train tracks) the whole car starts to vibrate and feels like it will stall. It hasn't stalled yet, but feels like it will.

There have also been a couple of times where the engine has taken a little longer to start. It turns over, but sometimes seems like it won't. I did check with the dealer prior to purchase to confirm that the recall work on this vehicle was already done. Any suggestions?

Hi. Do this. Go to an auto parts store, get a bottle of seafoam, a fuel additive that will clean the engine, fuel injectors, remove water from the fuel tank, etc. Drive for ten miles and you will most likely see a huge improvement. If this does not do the trick change the fuel filter as the symptoms you are having indicate that you are not getting enough fuel into the engine. J.

You probably have either a hole in the floorboard or the gromet that seals the e-brake cable is worn out or fallen out. Also a possible culprit is the gromets under the hood on the firewall.

2008 chrysler sebring convertible repair manuel

Haynes or Chilton manuals for it would be available at auto parts stores. Libraries often have many repair manuals.
For online sites, a couple are www.alldata/diy.com, and one from Mitchell1 (eautorepair.com) with weekly, monthly, or annual subscriptions. I believe the alldata site has only annual or 4 or5 year subscriptions.

2002 Chrysler Sebring Convertible - Trunk lid will not stay open

All gas charged supports are not created equal. I recommend using O.E. for this application.
Snow, ice and trapped water make the lid heavier than it should be make sure these are not the issue.
