If its the same as the 2000, then it is down from headlight on passengers side. it is easiest to access by removing the right side headlight assembly.

Is there a fuse for the horn on a 2000 Chevy Malibu?


fuse for horn on a 2001 malibu is located under the hood.
there is a fuse (15 amp) in slot #43
and there is a relay in slot #21
if you remove the relay and put it back in wrong the horn will not work.

I want picture of horn location under hood


the horn on a 2001 chevy mailbu is located behind the passenger side front fender. you need to remove the dust cover from the bottom of the fender in front of the tire to gain access to the horn(s) there should be 2 horns.

Can not get horn to blow on a 2001 malibu


2001 malibu horn fuse and relay are located in the under the hood fuse box.
location 21 should be the relay
location 43 should be the fuse.
if the relay is put in wrong the horn will not work. if you replaced the relay and the horn stopped working try pulling the relay out and turning it around. and try the horn again.

my horn is low when I press on it it makes a little toot noise would I need to replace the horn I'm thinking it's a fuse or relay it makes a low pitch sound where you can barely hear it thanks in advance

the horn is located below passenger side headlght! its easier to gain access by removeing headlight assembly. have a good one!

The horn on my 97 chevy malibu doesn't work.it's


sound like horn pad is bad.you going to have to replace horn pad and air bag as a whole unit.horn and air bag is all in one.this is a dealership fix.

Cannot locate horn for a 2002 Chevy Malibu


the horn is behind the passenger front fender. right in front of the tire. you need to remove the dust cover to gain access to the horn(s).
the picture was shot from underneath the car. you can not get to the horn(s) any other way.
