If they are electrical gauges i would start checking wires for grounding spots or worn spots for shorts.if they are mechanical then i would start checking for correct pressures.

My 65 mustang fuel gauge reads past full all the time. the tank and sending unit and gauge are new I removed the sending unit wire and its still goes past full. How can do to correct this problem.

power goes through the gauge down to the sender unit ,through the resistance to ground
what you have indicates a short in the wire after the gauge and before the sender unit

Why would Fuel gauge fluctuate erratically then shake at blinding speed?

Bad sending unit, bad ground, bad gauge, I have seen sending unit go bad they will work part way.

1989 silverado gas gauge shows full even when cluster removed from dash.

The sending unit in the tank provides a ground to the gauge depending on the float level. The gauge can "rest" anywhere if the power and ground circuits are not connected.
You would need to know if the gauge has power and is getting a ground signal from the tank.

Fuel gauge reads past full all the time

when the tank is full the resistance is low so the power through the gage make is read full
as the tank empties , the resistance increases so the less current means the gauge reads less until empty there is little or no power , the gauge reads empty
simple check , turn the ignition off, no power , no gauge reading

float may be stuck up;Take tank unit out and check it with power on and observe the travel and relative gauge position.

Gas gauge wont go past half it stops at half and will go to empty but never past half

There is a fuel gauge sensor in your fuel tank. If the sensor is out of place, it will not read the amount of gas in your tank correctly if it is out of place. This is a fixable job, but I recommend a ceritfied mechanic. Hope this helps! Please give 4 thumbs up!
