When I turn my wheels to the left or right they

Ford Taurus 2000 SE 24V DOHC

When I turn my wheels to the left or right they make a groaning sound but its only when going slow, like when I turn out of or into a parking spot. I notice it more pulling out of parking spots. Thank you

Fords famous power steering pump design its common if you replace the pump with a rebuilt one there is a paper with the new pump that warns you of this noise for about 500 miles after installing hope this helps

check to see if eans coming on if they dont then its fan relay if they are the rad is pluged or ther is an air pocket in the cooling system there should be a bleeder on it

I can't seem to get off the front rotors of my 2000 Ford Taurus V6 3.0 DOHC 24v. I banged and banged away from every angle but no movement what-so-ever. Are the rotors held on by wheel nut?; I can't tell....


No there is a screw that has to be broken loose with a spring hammer, you also have to remove the caliper bolts 2 of them. and remove the holders so the rotor will come off.

it sounds like you busted the Main band, it controls the whole actions of the tranny, since you didn't say anything like (it sounded like crushing rocks,etc, if you go to your local autozone,advance,kelly,pep boy's, chances are you can loan out a "decoder" it'll plug in I think just under the steering wheel on the "left",copy what codes it is "throwing", and that will tell you "exactly" what went wrong, so you can figure out if you want to "trade it in for that "gas guzzler" $4,500 credit, or replace the tranny", please let me know if this helps your problem,and if I can help anymore, god bless and try to have a good 4th.....

on ataurs with a duratec the thermostat is on the bottom radhose underneath the car. you will see a little housing near the radiator underneath the vehicle. they are a bit of a pain to get at
