Hi, the computer is located on the engine side of the firewall. There may be a bar that goes from the tops of the strut towers. If so, remove bar and the computer is where a large bundle of wires goes into firewall.
Take care

Motor temp sensor on 97 Lincoln contiental

It is usually in one of the cylinder heads or somewhere near the thermostat housing. Look for a 1 or 2 wire connector with a brass nut below it.

97 Lincoln Contiental drivers door ajar message stays on what can i do? Can I remove the door jam sensors or door ajar warning relay? If I can where exactly are the located

It is a sticky sensor in the door latch mechanism. Spray it w/ WD-40 and follow up with a dose of silicone spray. Open/close doors several times and it should be ok. If you have a problem with 1 door the other 3 are sure to follow---DO THIS TO ALL 4 DOORS!!!!!!!!!
