Question about Chevrolet Silverado 1500
The most common problem, I think, when changing a battery, is neglecting to clean the terminals off enough with a wire brush. Try toggling the starter switch a few times rapidly, to see if it turns over after cleaning the terminals, again.
The terminals should be shiny and clean, and sometimes, they may appear metallic, but are not clean enough.
Also, do you have current through the thick wire that leads to the starter solenoid?
Can you bypass the ignition switch and turn over the car by supplying current through a thumb switch to the solenoid?
