ok; get a 12 volt testlight and ground the ground clip on the ignition key while it is in the ignition lock and, turned to on then start at the signal fuse if you have power there the lamp will light you need not have power on both sides just on one; then see if you have power entering the flasher socket remove the flasher to do this; next check the power wire entering the multifunction switch.
let me know what you find.

Turn signals and Hazard no longer work

Fast clicking is caused by a higher than normal current being applied. Normally a short or a aftermarket relay that requires less current to switch. Sounds like the entire multifunction switch is bad.

1997 chevy 3500 truck all lights work besides the hazard lights. I replaced all fuses and head light switch and also turn signal switch. I have also checked all wires under dash.

Try replacing the flasher.I can't remember if a 97 has a separate hazard flasher or a multifunction type.(my 99 Chevy work truck has a multifunction type-a little black box resembling a relay in the under-dash fuse panel).

Im looking for the location of my turn signal flasher in my 1976 thunderbird. can you help me out?

Your Tbird has 2 flasher relays. One for the turn signals and one for the hazard lights. The turn signal flasher relay is located on the driver's side, under the dash, mounted right above the kick panel. The hazard relay is in the very same spot. Turn on the hazard lights, and feel of them. The one you feel clicking is not the one you want to replace. Replace the other one. I would appreciate a good rating for this free answer.

The hazard relay is located Front seating area, driver side, under dash, driver side of steering column, mounted in rear of fuse block. Replace the one for the Turn Signals. Still no turn signals...

The Electronic Flasher is located behind LH side of the instrument panel, above fuse panel.
you have to get on your back in front of the drivers seat ,,,with a flash light and look under the dash ,,, on the left side of the steering column tucked under the dash is a black square relay looking thing ,,this is your turn signal flasher ,,
