Air does not blow from my 2000 Grand Prix's air conditioner at all. The air went out temporarily one day and came back, but the next day it would not work at all. I have looked at the blower motor,...

If you look on the firewall on the passenger side there should be a drain hose for the A/C under the evaporator, these can get clogged over time and cause water to puddle on the floorboard. Just take a straightened out clothes hanger and push it up into the drain hose breaking up any blockage in there.

To replace the blower motor, take out carpet under glove box. look under glove box. there should be three screws to take out and then just pull out the old blower motor.

Water was leaking inside on passengers side, now

HVAC drain tube was blocked and condensation could not drain to the outside of the vehicle

as a result the water pooled inside the HVAC case leaking on the inside and killing your blower motor and probably blower motor resistor

clear the drain, replace the blower and resistor and you'll be back in business

Water in intermintently leaking from the blower motor which is located under the passenger dash. what is the likely cause of this

If its just water then the drain for the ac is clogged, to fix look under car for train tube(soft rubber tube hanging under passenger side floor) unclogg with wire hanger or something like that, if its antifreeze not water you may have a bad heatercore. Good luck and thanks for using fix ya

Rain water leaking from under glove box, heater area, is not antifreeqe, iam sure it is rain water

The evaporator drain might be clogged. Get under the truck or open the hood and look for a rubber nipple coming out of the firewall on the passengers side. Try sticking something in this hole to release whatever might be stuck in there, usually leaves or sediment. Be careful, don't go crazy pocking something in there. The evaporator core might be near the drain hole, you don't want to poke a hole in it.

Water leak on passenger floorboard also an ac problem

probably leaking heater core. you may have low coolant level now. the only place water comes in the cabin is for the heater, that has got to be it. the heater core can be bypassed (like my car's is) by simply cutting the hose that leads into the car and leave about a foot, make a big U out of it and plug the other side of the hose into the coolant passage that returns from the heater core and leads into the intake manifold. pretty easy you will need a knife, hose clamps, and common sense. the third one is a little harder to come by! :)

2003 Montero: Water leaking under dash passenger side

Is the leaking liquid antifreeze or clear water? Anti freeze is slimy. Ck your AC drain . its under the blower housinfg under the hood on the fire wall. The drain is easier to seeb from below looking yp. Squeeze it open and make sure it's clear. Good luck -Ned_

In the past I have had major water leaks in my 2005 grand prix. I never knew wehre the water came from. Now, I can hear water under my car shifting whenever I turn a corner. Where is it coming from??

Do you have a sun roof? I imagine you do.

Under the roof cover there is a tube on each side of the car that drains the sunroof area to the ground. Either a tube has been disconnected or come loose. This will cause severe mold and mildew problems if not fixed soon.

Wet on Passenger side floor when AC is on

Auto ac units have an outside drain for the condensation. If you ever noticed a car running and it looks like it's leaking something on a hot day it's the condensed water from the ac unit draining. What you have is a clogged or disconnected drain hose.
You need to find the hose and drain and reconnect them. Sounds simple, good luck.

Blower motor relay

It's the blower resistor. It was the first thing I fixed on mine when I bought it several months ago. It was a $20 part from the dealer (you can order it from most auto parts stores too). It's EASY to replace, but you have to contort yourself a little. It's right under the passenger side of the dashboard, under the glove compartment. You remove a couple of screws, take out the old one, put in a new one and BAM!! You're all fixed!

Mine also had two settings before I fixed it. It was on or off, no in-between.

Good luck!
