Open hood , locate bad bulb, light bulb sockets are held in with a wire retaining clip or they are twist locked in,, and required to twist loose then remove, and change out bulb. then reinstall socket.

if u have an older car. just remove the retaining ring with a screwdriver thats around the replacement bulb / housing assembly

there are fuses for each light, high and lo beam. the grounds are grounded at all times, I dont know what you mean by open seeking. its wired like every other car. Right low beam is fuse 21 Red/White wire should be hot if fuse is good. I dont know what you mean by hooking low beam connector to battery? check fuses.

Replaced Multifunction switch and I still do not have low beam headlights. I do have high beam and all other lights work fine. All fuses I have checked are good. Is there a relay that would control the low...


Try calling an Autoparts store and ask if there are 2 Relays for the headlights. A high-beam Relay and a low-beam Relay. Sometimes its the little things that bite us, check each bulb for continuity and see if the low beam filament is burned out on each side.

If something can happen, it will happen. Would like to know the results please.

its probally the bulb........alot of car headlights are DUAL element meaning one bulb has 2 little elements inside one for low beam one for high beam...............Most times the low beam burns out because its used more.....get it one bulb gives both high and low beams.......REPLACE bulb......if you don't know what kind go to auto part store, tell them the make of your car and they will give you the right one .....

The low beam bulb needs to be replaced. Go to an autozone store as they will sell you the bulb, and even assist you in their parking lot with installing it.

it could be Bad dimmer switch .just check out the switch.
