Question about 2000 Oldsmobile Alero
Antifreeze leak if thats what youre talking about is a common problem, if it is a 3.1 or 3.4 litre engine it is probably the lower intake, or they were good at getting a crack in the radiator just below where the upper hose connects to it, if it is a 2.4l there is a water inlet/outlet housing looks like where a thermostat would go on the end of the motor not too far from the power steering pump, the plastic wears out and the thin rubber gasket stops working right.

AMAZING same thing happened to me on the same day. I filled it up again with anti-freeze and it hasn't leaked since.
