You have to take off the surrounding plastic covers and usually they have bolts that hold them in place, but the bolts have heads that twist off upon installation so you have to drill them out and the new ignition will come with new bolts to install which they will twist the top off of as well when they reach the proper torque required to hold them on. There is also some wires that will clip on and off of the switch once yo are inside. Hope this helps.

Ignition switch removal

get a proper steering wheel puller, pull the steering wheel off. remove the screw for the hazard switch. remove 1 screw and a metal bracket for the signal switch. remove 3 screws holding the white switch in top of column. Then you need to pull this switch up out of the way, but in order to do this without wrecking it, you need to remove the plastic panels underneith the column to get at the column mounting bolts. there should be 2 13mm nuts holding the column to the dash. remove these. then there should be 4 13mm bolts holding the bracket to the column. remove these and there should be a plastic casing that th wires go through. remove this and unplug the wiring. now you can push the wiring up and out of the way without wrecking your signal switch. now remove 1 philips head screw holding the ignition switch in place and pry it out gently with a flat screwdriver.

installation is reverse procedure of removal

I got a problem with my ignition switch. I dont know how to change it

Their is a specal tool you have to get to remove the steering wheel. Then their is a turn signal switch that has to be removed with 3 or 4 screws. this is behind the steering wheel inside the column. After that their is the ignition switch one serew is holding that. remove it and their is a bar that goes in to the end of it, remove this and the ignition switch should fall out.

Please contact me if your problem presists.

Thanks, Charlie
