Question about 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan
Hi. Put the car back into drive and then push it into park using twice the usual force. Then try to remove the key. REpeat until you succeed.
IF this problem continues you will have to replace the ignition switch. J.

Make sure the gear select is in park ,you may have to turn key on,and push brake pedal down, then move gear to low drive, then up to park real hard, and then try to remove the key, also try wet graphite spray(napa auto parts has this),if this was at all helpful, please rate, thank you.

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door

The light has to be actively turned off because the code will not necessarily clear itself. Sometimes it can be done by disconnecting the battery for an hour. If that doesn't work, it'll have to be done with a garage's scan tool.
